SAMANTHA LEONARD, a Diamond from Kimberley (born September 6, 1992), is a very talented Actress and Recording Artist, pursuing her dream. She is "Spontaan Winner 2009" and made the top 35 of SA IDOLS at age 16.

During her High-School years, Samantha played Leading Roles in several Musical Theatre Productions, namely FAME, BACK-TO-THE-80's, GODSPELL, ALICE IN WONDERLAND, and CABERET GIRLS. She also wrote and composed her own music, and produced her first Album, titled "BREAK-THROUGH", which was released in 2010.

After matriculating from St. Cyprian's Grammar School in 2010 as an A-Student, where she received Honors in Music, Drama, and Dance, she moved to Cape Town to further her education, where she studied music at COPA (Campus of the Performing Arts), and completed her NQF2 Certificate in Keyboard, and NQF3 Certificate in Vocal Performance.

In 2011, Samantha entered several local singing competitions in Cape Town, where she took Gold and WON the "Up-Stage Singing Competition 2011", in the Senior Category. During this time, she was approached and asked to be part of the "Barnyard Theatre" and was in several Productions, namely ROCKING ALL OVER THE WORLD, FINAL COUNTDOWN, and SPECIAL STARS.

She has travelled and performed throughout South-Africa, and had the opportunity to perform at the "Abu Dhabi Theatre" in Dubai in 2012.

She has been entertaining people over the past five years at Casino's throughout the country where she performs and hosts Birthdays, Breakfasts, Corporates, and Special Events.

In April this year 2015, she released a Duet Album, titled "GLANZ", followed by a Music Video "In My Oë", hitting the charts at over 35 000 views. She is also busy writing and producing new songs for the release of her 2nd Solo album.
